JMMBS publishes original research and scholarly works across, but not limited to:

• Human movement biomechanics (kinematics, kinetics, GRF, inverse dynamics)
• Clinical movement assessment and injury risk stratification
• Rehabilitation science (return-to-play, reconditioning, clinical exercise prescription)
• Strength & conditioning science and performance diagnostics
• Exercise physiology applied to movement outcomes
• Wearables, motion capture, force platforms, EMG, and biomechanical modeling
• AI/ML methods for movement analytics

Article Types

We consider submissions including:

• Original research (experimental, observational, clinical, field studies)
• Systematic reviews and meta-analyses
• Narrative reviews with biomechanical synthesis
• Methods papers, datasets, and technical reports
• Case reports / case series (with clear clinical relevance)
• Editorials and invited commentaries

Editorial decisions are based on scientific merit, ethics, and relevance to the scope of the journal. Editors and reviewers disclose conflicts of interest and follow journal policy.
