JMMBS maintains a progressive copyright policy that supports author rights and global open access standards.
1) Copyright Ownership
Authors retain full copyright of their work published in JMMBS.
By submitting and publishing in JMMBS, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual right to publish, distribute, display, archive, and index the article in print and electronic formats.
Copyright remains with the author(s) without restriction.
2) Open Access Policy
JMMBS is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are immediately and permanently free to read, download, copy, distribute, and share without subscription or paywall barriers.
There are no embargo periods.
3) Licensing Terms

4) Third-Party Material
Third-party material included in articles (e.g., figures, images, datasets) is covered by the article’s Creative Commons license unless otherwise indicated in a credit line.
If material is excluded from the CC BY 4.0 license, users must obtain permission from the copyright holder.
Authors are responsible for securing appropriate permissions prior to publication.
5) Author Responsibilities
Authors must:
- Ensure the submitted work is original.
- Confirm that all co-authors approve submission and licensing terms.
- Disclose any prior dissemination (e.g., preprints, conference abstracts).
- Confirm that no copyright infringement has occurred.
6) Archiving & Preservation
JMMBS reserves the right to archive and preserve published content in digital repositories, indexing databases, and long-term preservation systems to ensure permanent accessibility and scholarly continuity.
