Submission Guidelines
These guidelines describe manuscript preparation, ethical standards, and the peer-review process for JMMBS.
1. Scope of the Journal
JMMBS considers manuscripts related to:
- Human movement mechanics and biomechanics
- Clinical movement assessment and injury risk
- Rehabilitation science and return-to-function
- Strength, conditioning, and performance analysis
- Exercise physiology applied to movement outcomes
- Motion capture, force platforms, EMG, wearable sensors
- Biomechanical modeling and applied AI (methodologically transparent)
2. Article Types
- Original Research Articles
- Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses
- Narrative Reviews with biomechanical synthesis
- Clinical Case Reports / Case Series
- Methods and Technical Reports
- Editorials and Invited Commentaries
3. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should generally include:
- Title page (title, authors, affiliations, corresponding author)
- Abstract (structured where appropriate)
- Keywords (3–6)
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
4. Ethical Requirements
- Human studies must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki
- Ethics committee approval must be stated where applicable
- Informed consent is required for identifiable data
- Conflicts of interest must be disclosed
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, and image manipulation are prohibited

5. Peer-Review Process
JMMBS follows an editorial screening followed by external peer review. Reviewers are selected based on subject-matter expertise.
- Initial editorial assessment
- External peer review
- Revision (if required)
- Final editorial decision
